Personnel from Station 1 took the time to complete a walk through of some new buildings under construction. While new buildings may provide sprinkler protection, firefighters need to understand the importance of how fire can travel within a structure and what risk it can pose to them. The greater the understanding of buildings construction, the better we can prepare to protect ourselves and the community.
