First Due Fire on Key Parkway

In the late evening hours company 1 was dispatched for a reported building fire located in the 1400 block of Key Parkway. Engine 12 arrived on location with smoke showing. Crews from Engine 12 completed a 360 size up, advance an attack line through the front door and up to the second floor in the area of origin. The fire was contained quickly with minimal damage to the affected unit. Occupants were out of the structure and 3 dogs were pulled out and contained during operations. The primary search was completed by Truck 41 and no additional rescues were reported. The professionalism from all involved resulted in a successful operation.
