On August 12 approximately around 5 in the evening, units from company 1 responded to a report of a building fire in the area of Thronhill Place. Engine 122, Engine 11, Engine 12, and Tower 1 arrived on location with smoke showing through the front door. Engine 122 had the initial attack line on the 1st floor while Engine 11 and Engine 12 worked in the basement with additional lines. Tower 1 crew placed ground ladders and completed search and rescue. The origin of the fire was in the utility room. No civilian or uniform injuries were reported.
