At 1520 hours, station 1 was alerted for a reported basement fire on the 7400 block of Skyline Drive. Crews arrived on scene to heavy smoke conditions coming from the basement. E11 made the initial attack and was quickly backed up by E12's, and the fire brought under control. Crews remained on scene to extinguish hot spots and ventilate as needed.
