House Fire in Stonegate Farms   By Firefighter III/EMT-B Ryan Fuller February 25, 2010   On the evening of February 25th Box Alarm 1-8 was dispatched for the house fire at 109 Stonegate Drive. Engine 12, Tower 1 and ambulance 18 responded with 9 personal. Engine 12 arrived to find a 2 story townhouse with Smoke showing on the alpha side. A safety task force was started. Duty 12 arrived and established the command. Engine 12 stretched the line as Tower 1 Forced entry for the engine crew and encounter heavy smoke conditions on division 1, the engine co. advanced the line and found heavy fire conditions in the kitchen area. Tower 1's crew Started primary searches on division 1 and 2 and began opening up for the engine company. Truck 50 arrived throwing ladders and ventilating the structure. Battalion Chief 901 arrived and assumed the Stonegate Command. Engine 122 arrived and took a 2nd line to division 2 to check for extension. The fire was held on division 1 with minor extension.
