YOU'RE NOT TRAINING IF IT'S NOT RAINING

Members from Independent Hose Company 1 in conjunction with United Steam Engine 3 took advantage of live fire training in the rain. The purpose of the training was to allow sets and reps of new operational policies to better protect firefighters. Training evaluations included teamwork utilization, company officer decision-making, organization of command and control, and individual skill competency. The scenarios were designed for members of all levels of experience to be challenged. We would to thank everyone for the hard work they put into the training. Also, we would like to thank the Division of Fire and Rescue Services for ensuring NFPA 1403 compliance, Amy Ausherman for all the photos, and our canteen 1 staff for providing drinks and food.
