CAR SAFETY SEAT Installation

The Frederick County Division of Fire/Rescue Services is proud to announce the Keep Kids Safe Program.  Child Passenger Safety Technicians/Instructors certified by Safe Kids Worldwide will provide car seat checks and education in a continuing effort to ensure the safety of our community’s children. 

Since Certified Child Safety  Technicians/Instructors work rotating shifts, the Keep Kids Safe Program works by appointment only.  To schedule an appointment or to have a technician contact you about a question you may have, please call our Car Safety Seat Hotline at 301-600-SEAT (301-600-7328) and leave a message.  Calls are generally returned within 72 hours.  Please note that not all firefighters and emergency medical services personnel are certified in child passenger safety.
